No Hours Flown, Thank You

The Academy stopped calling me for another schedule of flying. They're not going to survive. A person even unrelated to business knows that the academy have a high running cost and operating with a sufficient running cost is CRUCIAL in this high-maintenance industry. Gossips appear regarding they director's are finding sufficient fund to make ends meet. I believe celebrity's gossips more than manipulative industrial gossips.

Whatever it is people still asking me why im not continuing my flying now...Apart from the obvious reason that the school isnt gonna make me fly any sooner, theres another reason that i found better not to fly.

Its just too painful to sit and wait in the academy to be scheduled to fly, just watching my mom manage the business alone, and watch her cry every night because nobody there help her.


And so I met the DCA officials to give me some clue on what should I do with this. So we have a conversation and he is very helpful in terms of providing alternatives on what to do next. He stressed that he's not there to influence me, but rather giving me choices of what can i do next. Like:

1. Taking a leave for a period of time without compromising the period limited by the DCA.(1-1.5 years)
2. Change to another school, "to a more obedient and less greedy school" he said.
3. Return flying when the time is right. (5-6 years later, might lose several hours Ive flown)


So finally I asked him out of curiousity;

What would you do if you were in my shoes right now?

He smiled in a couple of second and started to say " That is the most diffcult question to answer." Long pause then he said," For me, I help my mother."

The Seller's Advantage. Hours Flown: 10.5

Ive flown for at least 15 hours plus already and waiting for the Flying Club to schedule me to fly again. Due to some corporate problems, i'll be put on hold untill God knows... Until then, im a salesman..business mode..whatever..as long as I'm supporting myself independently, I know im on the right track.

This is a flying blog. But I guess, i was born a salesman, before i was mould into an aviator.Whatever that is, i agree without investment management skills, youre not recession proof, whateve job youre in. Its true what Robert Kiyosaki said, Financial IQ (FIQ) is the best advantage that some people have to survive just about ANYTHING.

Because FIQ is the ONE SIDED ADVANTAGE.Which means one person taking advantage of the other's ignorance.
With this advantage, any relationship made is advantageous to one side only.
ETC:
Seller Advantage is when a seller mark up the product's price without the buyer knows what is the running cost. Thus, seller gain some profit.

Another advantage is your own concept. It starts from your brain, not on a piece of paper.
In business, concept is just important. I dont mean location or shop decoration concept, but MOST important: Your business model concept.

So what is business model?
Practically, its the structure of HOW your business work. Like a mind map. You have the center of what the business is making money out of, and small branches of the description.

Now every business has one. But what makes the business is damn f*ckin profitable?

As we know:

Profit = Total Sales - Running Cost

Every business can make a huge total sales ( with the right brain ). But the real deal is the huge profit. How to get a huge profit? Simple, minimizing the running cost, and expanding networking team.

Etc:


A posh boutique can gain a monthly total sales around 50K.
Good location, good traffic, and a minimum buy of one product per customer.
BUT pays a holy shit running costs of 20K for some fancy renovations, decorations, and rental. That makes 30K of hard sweats.
Selling in small volume of quantity = Needs hard work to sell.



A simple wholesaling shop also can gain a monthly total sales of 50K.
Why so small, yet get so big?
Secretive location, small traffic, yet a minimum buy of 10 products per customer.
BUT pays a running costs of 5K. That makes 45K of cool sweats.
Selling in huge volume of quantity = Less hard work to sell. Other people help you sell it.

In another word, to gain maximum profit with minimum running cost, expand your business network. Get more and more people help you sell the products.

Pre-Flight Check :P . Hours Left: 100.00

Hi guys :)

Its been a long time since i last flying. It was last October 2010 :P So thats mean Im gonna get nervous for this next Monday sortie...with Capt Rois. Im sure he's alright haha..

Why Im writing this blog is more like a self-reminder that this is a CHALLENGE for me to finish :

the LAST 100 hours of my day-flying hours.

So you guys can remind me:
1. No sissy plea not to finish what I started, which means flying.
2. No silly excuse why flying is tough. Because it never was.
3. So I can say to people "Ya I dah habis 250 hours flying!" and get a free hug. :)

Why do I need to write it into a blog? Firstly, I highly appreciate your support and chaiyoks as a motivational dose for me to STOP SITTING AT ONE PLACE and move on!

Flying ni banyak asam garamnye. But no achievement can be done without the FIRST BABY STEP.

Macam ada Captain cakap : Even monkey can fly. Kalau AirAsia pun dah sedar , why not me :P

Last, but not least, I reallyx2 appreciate ur guys support.. dlm bentuk advice ke, spanking ke, positive motivation ke, comfort words ke, kutukan pun bole. Its still motivation what? heheh.
